Our very popular workshops are designed to assist children from Year 7 to Year 13, and students at university upon request. Study Skills and Strategies and Effective Essay Writing are learned skills and who better to teach your children than successful university students who have come through the same school system as your children.  They know what is required and what to expect and can provide all the tips and techniques to improve results based on evidence-based research.

The students who attend our workshops go away feeling much more confident in themselves and their ability to reach their potential, often this is the difference between an Achieved to a Merit or a Merit to an Excellence.  Our tutors project an enthusiastic style of teaching and as they are close in age to your kids they have the ‘buy-in’ as successful individuals who speak your child’s language.

Using the resource guide developed collaboratively by Marie (teacher, Educational Psychologist, and tutors) our tutor(s) will teach the small group to apply explicit and practical strategies and skills to understand improve their results.   All resources provided.  Our Essay Writing workshop will be held at the Seminar Room, 642 New North Road, Morningside on Saturday, April 28th 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Please complete the Year 11-13 (at this stage it is open Year 10-13 students) registration form at  http://ktltuition.co.nz/workshop-registration/ and an onlinebooking link will be forwarded to you.
